Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a jelly roll pan and line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, beat eggs and granulated sugar until thick.
  4. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; fold into egg mixture.
  5. Stir in milk and melted butter.
  6. Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes, then invert onto a clean towel.
  9. Roll the cake with the towel and cool completely.
  10. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  11. Unroll the cake, spread cream and strawberries on top, then re-roll.
  12. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
