Description

Crispy and flavorful air fryer falafel made with chickpeas and herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pulse until well blended but still slightly chunky.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
  5. Brush or spray falafel with olive oil.
  6. Place falafel in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
