Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Add cold water gradually until dough forms.
  4. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  5. Dice apples and toss with lemon juice and cornstarch.
  6. Roll out the chilled dough and cut into circles.
  7. Place a spoonful of apple filling on half of the circles.
  8. Fold and seal the cookies. Brush with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
