Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  4. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper; cook for 1 minute.
  5. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  6. Add 3 cups of cheese and stir until melted.
  7. Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. Pour mixture into a baking dish and top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
