Ingredients

- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in flour, salt, and pepper; cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Add 3 cups of cheese and stir until melted.
- Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce and mix well.
- Pour mixture into a baking dish and top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use different cheese for variety.
- Add cooked bacon or vegetables for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
