- 2 chicken fillets, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cook chicken in the skillet for 6-7 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chicken broth and balsamic vinegar.
- Bring to a boil, then add orzo pasta.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes until orzo is tender.
- Slice the chicken and add it back to the skillet.
- Mix well and serve garnished with fresh basil.

- Adjust seasoning as desired.
- Use low-sodium chicken broth for a healthier option.
- Can substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian version.
