- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Stir in cinnamon and add banana slices.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until bananas are tender.
- Remove from heat and add rum.
- Carefully ignite the rum and let it burn for a few seconds.
- Serve the banana mixture over vanilla ice cream.
