Description
BBQ brisket melts are delicious sandwiches filled with tender brisket and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked brisket, shredded
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Mix shredded brisket with BBQ sauce in a bowl.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Add a layer of brisket mixture on top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the brisket.
- Top with another slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Use leftover brisket for quicker preparation.
- Customize with additional toppings like pickles or onions.
- Serve with coleslaw on the side.
