  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir the cooked beef into the ricotta mixture.
  6. Fill each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture.
  7. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  8. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
