Description

A delicious berry trifle layered with cream and sponge cake.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sponge cake, cubed
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  2. Layer the sponge cake cubes at the bottom of a trifle dish.
  3. Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the cake.
  4. Spread a layer of whipped cream over the berries.
  5. Repeat the layers until the dish is full.
  6. Top with remaining berries and mint leaves.

Notes

  • Use any combination of berries you like.
  • Chill the trifle for at least an hour before serving.
  • Can substitute store-bought whipped topping for homemade cream.
