Description
A delicious berry trifle layered with cream and sponge cake.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sponge cake, cubed
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Layer the sponge cake cubes at the bottom of a trifle dish.
- Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the cake.
- Spread a layer of whipped cream over the berries.
- Repeat the layers until the dish is full.
- Top with remaining berries and mint leaves.
Notes
- Use any combination of berries you like.
- Chill the trifle for at least an hour before serving.
- Can substitute store-bought whipped topping for homemade cream.
