Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews, soaked for 4 hours
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Soak the cashews in water for 4 hours.
  2. Drain and rinse the cashews.
  3. In a blender, combine cashews, almond milk, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, and onion powder.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Transfer to a saucepan and heat over medium heat until warm.
  6. Serve over your favorite gluten-free pasta.
