- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 prepared pie crust
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
- Pour the strawberry mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for another 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Serve with whipped cream on top.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
- Chill the pie before serving for better texture.
- You can add a pinch of salt to the filling for balance.
