A rich and creamy dessert combining the flavors of black forest cake and cheesecake.
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- ¼ cup chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in sour cream until combined.
- Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust.
- Spread cherry pie filling over the batter.
- Top with remaining cheesecake batter.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
