  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and lavender.
  6. Combine the dry ingredients with the creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  7. Gently fold in the blackberries.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before serving.
