Description
Brazilian Fish Stew (Moqueca) is a flavorful dish made with fish and coconut milk.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs white fish fillets
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 can coconut milk
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add bell pepper and tomatoes, cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in coconut milk and bring to a simmer.
- Add fish, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until fish is cooked through.
- Stir in cilantro before serving.

- Serve with rice or crusty bread.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
