Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and cube the potatoes.
  3. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the boiling potatoes for the last 3 minutes.
  5. Drain the potatoes and broccoli.
  6. In a pot, melt butter and add milk, salt, and pepper.
  7. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
  8. Add the potato and broccoli mixture to the cheese sauce.
  9. Mix well and transfer to a baking dish.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.

  • Use sharp cheddar for more flavor.
  • Can substitute broccoli with cauliflower.
