- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add flour, stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually add vegetable broth, whisking to avoid lumps.
- Add milk and bring to a simmer.
- Add broccoli, cook until tender.
- Stir in cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
