Description
Sweet and tender carrots glazed with brown sugar.
Ingredients

- 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced carrots and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Add water and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until carrots are tender.
- Uncover and cook for an additional 5 minutes to thicken the glaze.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- For a richer flavor, use honey instead of brown sugar.
- Fresh herbs can be added for extra taste.
