Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken fillet, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, paprika, and salt for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, and ginger. Cook until onions are soft.
  3. Add marinated chicken to the pan. Cook until chicken is browned.
  4. Stir in tomato puree and sugar. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
