Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully remove the leaves from the cabbage head.
  3. In a bowl, mix ground beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Place a scoop of the mixture onto each cabbage leaf.
  5. Roll the leaf tightly, tucking in the sides.
  6. Place the rolls seam side down in a baking dish.
  7. Pour tomato sauce over the rolls.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes.

Notes

  • Use a large pot to blanch cabbage leaves for easier rolling.
