Description

A rich and creamy dessert with layers of chocolate mousse and Cadbury Flake.


Ingredients

  • 200g digestive biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 300ml double cream
  • 200g dark chocolate, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 Cadbury Flake bars, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Crush the digestive biscuits and mix with melted butter.
  3. Press the biscuit mixture into the bottom of a tart tin.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until pale.
  6. Add melted chocolate and vanilla extract to the egg mixture.
  7. In another bowl, whip the double cream until soft peaks form.
  8. Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
  9. Pour the mousse over the cooled biscuit base.
  10. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
  11. Before serving, top with crushed Cadbury Flake.

Notes

  • Make sure the chocolate is not too hot when mixing with eggs.
  • Use a tart tin with a removable base for easy serving.
  • For a sweeter mousse, adjust sugar according to your taste.
