This Cajun Sausage Pasta is a flavorful blend of spicy sausage, creamy sauce, and pasta.
Ingredients

- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb Cajun sausage, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Add the Cajun seasoning and mix well.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
- Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
- Use any type of sausage for variation.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
