- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter and mix with graham cracker crumbs.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add sour cream and vanilla, mix well.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 40 minutes, then let it cool.
- In a pan, melt brown sugar with butter and rum.
- Add sliced bananas and cook until caramelized.
- Top the cheesecake with caramelized bananas and serve.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for best flavor.
- Chill cheesecake for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Adjust rum quantity to taste.
