Description
A refreshing salad made with carrots and apples.
Ingredients

- 2 cups shredded carrots
- 1 cup grated apple
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine shredded carrots and grated apple.
- Add raisins and chopped walnuts.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and apple cider vinegar.
- Pour dressing over the carrot and apple mixture.
- Toss well to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- This slaw can be made a day in advance.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or fewer raisins.
- For a vegan option, substitute mayonnaise with a vegan alternative.
