Description
A delicious vegan burger made with cauliflower patties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 head of cauliflower, chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup chickpeas, mashed
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Steam the chopped cauliflower until tender.
- In a bowl, mash the steamed cauliflower.
- Add breadcrumbs, chickpeas, onion, garlic, nutritional yeast, cumin, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry each patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Chill the patties for 30 minutes before frying for better texture.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free option.
