Instructions
1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling:
– In a medium-sized bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
– Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to mix until well combined.
2. Shape the Cheesecake Balls:
– Once the mixture is smooth, use a spoon to scoop out small amounts (about 1 tablespoon each).
– Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. Add Coatings:
– For the classic cheesecake ball, roll the balls in graham cracker crumbs. You can also roll them in mini chocolate chips, crushed nuts, or any coating of your choice.
– If you prefer a fruity twist, gently drizzle fruit preserves over the cheesecake balls.
4. Chill:
– Place the cheesecake balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
