- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (100g) cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour

- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in flour and salt until combined.
- Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spread evenly. Set the rest of the batter aside.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter, swirling it into the cheesecake layer with a knife or toothpick.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Let it cool in the pan before slicing.
Notes
- Do not overmix the brownie batter to avoid tough brownies.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing for cleaner edges.
- For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
