Ingredients

  • 2 cups smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  3. In a baking dish, layer sliced potatoes, sautéed onion, and garlic.
  4. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Top with smoked Gouda cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
