A creamy and cheesy potato bake with smoked Gouda.
Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- In a baking dish, layer sliced potatoes, sautéed onion, and garlic.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Top with smoked Gouda cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- You can add bacon for extra flavor.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
