Ingredients

- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 large onions, finely sliced
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, minced
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add garlic and ginger, cook for 2 minutes.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until no longer pink.
- Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies, stir well.
- Mix in turmeric, red chili, cumin, coriander, and salt.
- Cook on low heat until chicken is tender and gravy thickens.
- Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.

- Serve with rice or naan.
