Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken fillets
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place chicken fillets between plastic wrap and pound to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken fillet.
  5. Roll up each chicken fillet and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in a mixture of eggs and milk, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown each roll on all sides.
  8. Transfer the browned rolls to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Remove toothpicks and serve hot.
