Description
A simple and flavorful chicken gravy made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the crockpot.
- Add chicken broth, onion, garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, and salt.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred it.
- Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
- Stir the slurry into the gravy in the crockpot.
- Cook on high for 15 minutes until thickened.
- Add shredded chicken back to the gravy and mix well.
Notes
- Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
- Can substitute chicken thighs with fillet.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
