  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove chicken from skillet, slice, and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add marinara sauce and heat through.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine.
  8. Top with sliced chicken, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
  10. Serve hot.
