- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet, slice, and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add marinara sauce and heat through.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Top with sliced chicken, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
- Serve hot.
