- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sheet puff pastry
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large pot, cook the orzo according to package instructions.
- In a separate saucepan, combine chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Heat until warm.
- Add shredded chicken and mixed vegetables to the sauce, stirring to combine.
- Once the orzo is cooked, drain and add to the chicken mixture.
- Pour the entire mixture into a baking dish.
- Cover with puff pastry and cut slits for steam to escape.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Feel free to swap vegetables based on your preference.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
