- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, uncooked rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well and transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the cheese is golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or oregano.
- You can substitute chicken with turkey or tofu for a different protein.
