Ingredients

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons tikka masala spice mix
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, lemon juice, and tikka masala for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion until golden.
  3. Add garlic and ginger; cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add marinated chicken; cook until browned.
  5. Stir in crushed tomatoes; simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Mix in heavy cream; cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and garnish with cilantro.
