A delicious and hearty breakfast dish combining chicken and waffles in one bake.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 cups waffle mix
- 2 cups milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix waffle mix, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in shredded chicken and half of the cheese.
- Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheese and drizzle maple syrup over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with extra maple syrup if desired.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
