Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add molasses and eggs to the butter mixture, mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in chopped crystallized ginger.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
