Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Crushed candy canes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into a tart pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  5. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering.
  6. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and peppermint extract.
  7. Stir until smooth and pour into the cooled crust.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  9. Top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes before serving.
