Ingredients

  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt.
  3. Add butter and egg yolk, mix until combined.
  4. Press the dough into a tart pan.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then let cool.
  6. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and sugar until simmering.
  7. Remove from heat, add chopped chocolate and vanilla.
  8. Stir until smooth and pour into the cooled crust.
  9. Refrigerate for 2 hours to set.
  10. Slice and serve chilled.
