Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar.
  3. Add butter and egg yolk; mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in cold water until a dough forms.
  5. Press dough into a tart pan and prick with a fork.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes and let cool.
  7. Melt dark chocolate and set aside to cool slightly.
  8. Whip heavy cream and granulated sugar until soft peaks form.
  9. Fold melted chocolate into whipped cream.
  10. Pour chocolate mixture into cooled tart shell.
  11. Top with cranberries and orange zest.
  12. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
