Delicious Christmas Almond Snowball Cookies are soft, buttery treats coated in powdered sugar.

			- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar for coating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar together.
- Add vanilla and almond extracts, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, chopped almonds, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Let them cool for a few minutes, then roll in powdered sugar.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- These cookies can be made a week in advance.
- For more flavor, toast the almonds before chopping.
