Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients. Knead until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle. Spread chocolate chips and nuts over the surface.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool before slicing.
