Description

A rich and creamy chocolate mousse perfect for Christmas celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 4 large eggs
  • 100g sugar
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  3. Fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture.
  4. In another bowl, whip the cream with vanilla and salt until soft peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Pour into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with whipped cream or chocolate shavings on top.
  • Can be made a day in advance.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
