A rich chocolate tart with a pecan topping, perfect for Christmas.
Ingredients

- 1 pre-baked tart shell
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup pecans, halves
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, heat the cream and butter until melted.
- Add chocolate and stir until smooth.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Combine the chocolate mixture with the egg mixture.
- Pour the filling into the tart shell.
- Arrange pecans on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.

- Serve with whipped cream for extra richness.
- Can be made a day in advance.
