A festive treat made with coconut and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded coconut, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt.
- Spread the mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, melt chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- Spread melted chocolate over the cooled coconut layer.
- Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.
- Let it cool completely, then cut into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be made ahead of time for holidays.
- For a variation, add dried fruits.
