Description

A festive layered dessert that combines the flavors of Christmas cookies with creamy layers.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of sugar cookie mix
  • 1 cup of butter, softened
  • 1 package of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 cups of whipped topping
  • 1 cup of crushed peppermint candies
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare the sugar cookie mix according to package instructions and press into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cookie layer.
  6. Add a layer of whipped topping over the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies and chocolate chips on top.
  8. Top with remaining whipped topping and add holiday sprinkles.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
