Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine granulated sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. In a bowl, mix gelatin with 1/4 cup cold water. Let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour hot sugar mixture into the gelatin. Whisk until dissolved.
  4. Add vanilla extract and salt. Mix well.
  5. Pour mixture into a greased pan. Let it set for 4 hours.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares.
