A festive meatloaf recipe perfect for Christmas dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, parsley, egg, ketchup, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form into a loaf shape and place in a baking dish.
- Spread additional ketchup on top if desired.
- Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
- Variations can include adding cheese or vegetables.
