- 4 large egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups mixed berries
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
- Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Mix in vanilla and vinegar.
- Spoon meringue onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 1 hour, then turn off oven and let meringues cool inside.
- Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Top cooled meringues with whipped cream and mixed berries.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Store meringues in an airtight container.
- Use fresh berries for the best taste.
- Can be made a day in advance.
