- 1 pre-made tart shell
- 3 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix pears, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and melted butter.
- Place the tart shell in a baking dish.
- Arrange the pear mixture in the tart shell.
- Brush the edges of the tart with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pears are tender and the crust is golden.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
