Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, butter, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the egg yolk and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Press the dough into a tart pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  6. Stir in the pecans.
  7. Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until set.
  9. Let cool before serving.
